General
Q. What are the documents to be produced during registration?
A. School leaving certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheets, Bachelor's and/or Master's mark sheets, Bachelor's and/or master's degree certificate, 4
photographs and DD.
Q. Is there an entrance exam for the various courses?
A. BCAT is the only entrance exam which is for the BBA program.
Q. Should we submit the original certificates on the day of registration?
A. Yes, you are needed to submit the original certificates on the day of
registration.
Q. How many faculties do you have?
A. There are 20 part time faculties and 20 visiting faculties that we have.
Q. What is the pattern of the semester exams?
A. The pattern of the semester exams is multiple choice questions.
Q. What is the minimum attendance percentage required?
A. The minimum attendance percentage required is 75%.
Q. Is full-time/ part- time mentioned on the degree certificate?
A. No, full-time/ part-time is not mentioned on the degree certificate.
BIMS/Suntech provides a certificate stating full-time/part-time.
MBA with PGPLE
Q. What are the timings of the MBA full time program?
A. 8:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Q. What are the extra activities involved in the MBA program?
A. The extra activities involved are international internship, international study
tour, operational work outs, live projects, reading seminars, case studies,
Student internship program, guest lecture etc.
Q. Is there a lateral entry provided for the MBA program?
A. Yes, there is lateral entry provided to all the BBA graduates.
International Study tour/ International Internship Program (IIP)
Q. What are the countries that you send us to?
A. We have tie-ups with about 15 countries.
Q. Do you provide us with accommodation?
A. Yes, you are provided with accommodation facilities.
Q. Do I need to pay for the air fare back and forth?
A. No, we arrange for the air fare back and forth.
Q. Are all the students eligible for the international study tour?
A. Yes, all the students are eligible for the international study tour as long as they
are able to clear the interview which is the eligibility criteria for the same.
Q. What is the duration of the Study tour?
A. It is for 10 days.
Q. What is the duration of the International Internship program?
A. IIP is for about 6 weeks.
Q. Are we asked to work in companies or given projects?
A. You will be given projects.
Q. Is there a training provided by BIMS before the IIP?
A. Yes, you will be completely trained before you leave to the country.
Q. Do you provide us with Visa and passport?
A. Yes, we do help you out with the Visa and passport formalities.
Q. Do I get a certificate from the company?
A. Yes, you do get a certificate from the company as well as from BIMS
Placement
Q. Are all the students eligible for placement?
A. There is a placement criterion that is being followed. You are eligible if you
have 75% attendance and 65% of marks throughout.
Q. Is there a registration fee for placement?
A. No. there is no registration fee for placement.
Q. Do companies from outside Baroda visit BIMS as well?
A. Yes, companies from outside Baroda do visit BIMS for recruitment.
Q. Am I allowed to apply to more than one company for placement?
A. The maximum that you can be shortlisted is for 5 companies.
'I' Module
Q. How many classes of 'I' Module are offered?
A. Three sessions weekly are offered.
Q. How many faculties are there in the 'I' Module?
A. There are 5 faculties in the 'I' Department.
